Overview
We would meet in the morning for group sessions such as Q&A's or insight sessions with Pro Bono or Fuse. We were also divided into groups and worked on an innovation challenge with the goal of presenting a solution at the end of the week. In the afternoons, there was designated time with our individual trainers where we gained insight into their relevant practice areas.
Skills
I developed my collaboration and presentation skills during the final innovation challenge. Meeting fellow cohort members and A&O employees developed my interpersonal skills also.
Business Insight
I found it very insightful, particularly understanding the invaluable role of professional support lawyers. I enjoyed learning about the composition of the business and what makes A&O different from competitors.
Culture
Extremely friendly and welcoming. I cannot speak highly enough of the culture of the firm - this was a huge differentiating factor in my eyes.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the vacation scheme so much. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the Graduate Recruitment Team - they were all so attentive and friendly. I also loved getting to know the cohort.
