  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • Wrting a morning an evening note and sending this out to the wider team. Writing research reports and analysing market news and data and also performing regular trade ideas based off research and own analysis of the market. Would work on various projects at a time depending on the needs of the desk.

    • You cannot talk to clients but you are still given more sort of responsibility. The morning and evening notes you write are needed by the team, as well as summaries of research pieces

    • You are assaigned a buddy and a mentor at the start of your internship. As long as you are 'hand on' with them you will receive a lot of guidance.

    • ReasResearch as much as you can. Network with a lot of people and don’t stop asking questions. In the early stages, there is no such thing as a ‘stupid question’ so don’t be shy! Be yourself, and don’t get too stressed. At he same time, make sure you are competing your work to the best of your ability and always asking for constructive feedback.
