Vacation Schemer Review

Acting as a trainee solicitor, working alongside associates, lawyers, partners and peers to conduct research, produce practical guidance notes and complete one piece of assessed work for your designated Associate/Partner. Attended many talks and interactive sessions discussing legal topics and sector expertise. Also attended many social events arranged for the cohort to get involved in together.

Communication, writing, analysis and social skills were very well tested and developed during this experience.

It was very interesting to get such deep insight into the opportunities, and potential roles available within the firm both operating in its professional legal capacity and in operating as a business. I received valuable insight in this respect and all of my questions were answered about how the firm works.

Very friendly, welcoming and open to involvement. Colleagues at all levels were willing to answer questions or chat informally, and would try their best to give you as much of their time as they could. The general atmosphere was very social but still maintained a good reputation for expertise and deep knowledge.

I really enjoyed the opportunity, not only to learn more about the firm and get involved in its operation but also for mentoring from the access and guidance given by successful individuals. The structure, organisation and guidance given during the insight was brilliantly organised and very well supported by the Recruitment team.
