Overview
Day-to-day involved creating informational decks, chatting to different people across the desks to gather information. My projects required reading many annual reports, sustainability reports and financial regulation documents to then summarise and present.
Skills
I have learnt about financial markets from scratch, how to navigate financial websites, build decks, present, approach new people for conversations, work as a team and individually, and to sell products.
Responsibilities
I was tasked with helping on live deals and client communications. I was given a lot of responsibility which made it feel more 'real' and rewarding.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support from my team and external teams, for both professional and personal matters throughout.
Culture
Very friendly, open and transparent. All willing to help you learn and to grow within the field.

I wholly enjoyed my internship experience, and it has made me more confident in wanting to pursue finance in the future.
Yes
You are not at a disadvantage for not having studied Economics/Finance at university. Coming from a humanities background, I was able to pick up content quickly and use my degree-relevant skills to make the most of my time here.
