    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • I worked in a team helping to build software solutions to problems. We used agile so constant interaction with team members was key. Lots of stuff to learn and I was given time and resources to do so. We also had some fun tasks to do with the other summer students such as Virtual escape rooms and AI games.

    • I have built my technological and social skills. In particular getting to work with AWS allowed me to learn a lot.

    • We were given quite a lot of responsibility which was good but we still had support when we needed it. Myself and another intern had our own project to work on.

    • Company culture is good, they are quite focused on diversity in the work place. Atmosphere was generally good, particularly with the other interns.
