  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I have made lots of gret relationships and also friends, mainly from social activies from work, but also from networking wth different departments.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My managers varied in management styles, in which one was very hands on, and the other let me get on with my own planning and work. They both however gave regular feedback and reviews, which was great, because it meant that I could improve on certain areas, and continue onn my strengths.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Day to day business varied, however I would say that I was always more busy than quiet. I found though that even when I was quiet, I took it upon myself to ask colleagues for any work I could help with. Not only did this benefit me by keeping me busy, but it also meant that I could see other peoples roles in the organisation.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Working in a smaller team in marketing, meant that I had alot more responsibility than the other 'placement' students. This was great, because the hard work meant that I learnt so much, but also it was great seeing my work in publications, or hearing my advert on the radio!!

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I am 100% confident that I have learnt so much this year, and I know that regardless of whether I am successful on getting onto the Grad scheme, I have learnt so many skills which will benefit mein the future. This doesn't solely mean skill used in the office. n tp of this, I have learnt skills in addition to the skills I came here with, such as networking, reltionship building, presentatin skills. It has ben such a valuable year, and I know that it has put me on the right track for my future career.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The work environment was great because there was the perfect balance between professionalism but also fun. This meant there was a comfortable nature which allowed you the confidence to ask the 'silly question', which meant you increased your knowledge quicker.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Having the 12 months split down to two 6 month plcements was great. The work that had gone into it meant that we benefitted from seeing different aspects of the company, and the support was great. There was always a HR member whom we could talk to if we had any issues or problems.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We had scheduled training days throughout the year, which were so beneficial, and then I had training in each placement, which meant that I could hit the ground running and get stuck into the job straight away.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised Canteen

    Sports and Social Club

    Subsidised/Company Gym

    National Travel

    Financial Bonus

    Company Parties/Events

    Staff Sales/Staff Shop

    Above 25 days holiday

    Working from home

    Healthcare from home

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I would love to have the offer of being a graduate with Peugeot. However nothing has been confirmed yet, but I feel that I have done well, and I have had good feedback and praise on my work.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I was part of the social committee, which meant that I was involved in a lot of the events, both organising but also taking part. On top of this, I got involved in football with work and golf. This was good because I built relationships which I could use in work for my benefit.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived around 30 minute commute away from work, which meant that the socialising wasn't the best, however the area was cheap, so I got a good flat for cheap, which was great.

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I tended to go home at weekends, are therefore I didn't experience the nightlife, however being in an area close to alot of different places, allows you to travel to different places.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were so many activities available, and it was a matter of asking to go and take part, rather than waiting to be asked. This meant that you needed to be confident to get involved and to ask. It helps that everyone here is friendly and will allow you t get involved!!!
