We were provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which gave us opportunities to network with other Spring Interns and current employees of JP Morgan. We were given presentations on the different divisions available with the chance to ask questions to speakers.
I have developed my presentation skills and increased my confidence by talking to other people in the program. Moreover, I have refined my LinkedIn and CV writing skills, which will help me greatly in my career.
It was very insightful to see the different career prospects that we have the opportunity to get into through this program. The scope of this program is essentially the entire company, which has been extremely beneficial to know. Being given examples of what different employees have gone into and their huge changes in career paths within the business was highly insightful and encouraging to know.
The culture came across as very encouraging, with a large emphasis on skill development for whatever division an employee wanted to go into. Everyone I came in contact with was welcoming and friendly. All in all, it seems like a brilliant place to thrive and work.
I loved every day of the insight. I learnt so much about different aspects of the business. Hearing about the flat hierarchical structure intrigued me, especially since I don't know exactly what I want to do in my career as of yet. Additionally, the networking opportunities were brilliant and have motivated me more than ever to get into the banking industry.
