Overview
I completed legal research, filled in board minutes, conducted due diligence, and sat in on calls with clients. I also attended presentations about everything the firm has to offer, and learned about what it is like to train with and work at HSF.
Skills
I have developed my research skills to produce memos setting out points in a current case. I developed my presentation and team work skills through our pro bono presentations.
Business Insight
It was very informative and the firm more than met my expectations in terms of the work I did and the general culture.
Culture
Everyone was incredibly welcoming at every level of the firm. I had a different trainee buddy and supervisor in my first and second weeks and they took time out of their busy schedules to answer my questions and help me to feel included.

I had a great time on this vacation scheme and would recommend to anyone who is thinking about a career in law, and who thinks HSF would be a good fit for them.
