Overview
Learning relevant skills from cadet study projects. Networking and learning more about the roles and activities of the company.
Skills
I have learnt some financial analysis skills and developed my understanding of geo-political and ESG influences on the industry.
Business Insight
It was great. Very informative and allowed me to understand how my skills and values aligned with the company and certain roles.
Culture
They all emphasised the willingness of everyone to help and how flat the hierarchy structure felt. I could definitely feel that too.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it quite a bit. It’s a shame it couldn’t be in real life but enjoyable none the less.
Yes
Ask a lot of questions and be ready to engage with all of the activities. Coming into it with an open mind will help you to learn if you are aligned with the company or role as you expected.
