Overview
The open day aimed to give an insight into Taylor Wessing and the kind of work they are involved with as well as introducing different members of the team including the Senior Managing Partner and graduate recruitment team. They also gave information about their current aims to improve diversity, inclusion and sustainability.
Skills
Yes I developed research skills as the speakers at the event cited multiple sources which prompted me to research these sources.
Business Insight
It was very interesting to learn about how big a law firm actually is and all the different departments that exist. As a full-service firm it became clear that TW has so many options regarding possible placements during a TC.
Culture
A lot of emphasis on staff wellbeing which is really impressive and also important to me. Inclusive atmosphere
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it as it confirmed to me that TW is a great firm and aligns with my values as a person. This experience has encouraged me to apply for the vac scheme in the hopes of becoming a future employee.
