Overview
My day-to-day work consisted of three parts: - A distinct piece of work as an intern project. - Learning opportunities like online courses. - Networking and work-shadowing with different employees.
Skills
Yes, I see the biggest development in soft skills. Despite the importance of communication, teamwork and presentation skills being stressed in education, working in a company actually puts a purpose behind these activities. Therefore, I found these a lot easier and enjoyable.
Responsibilities
Due to the nature of the work I was not involved in any time-sensitive decisions, however I have made a contribution that the company can utilize in the future.
