Overview
Mixture of presentations, networking sessions, and opportunities to undertake and experience real work in the department to which we were allocated.
Skills
Developed organisation and time-management skills by balancing various tasks, and written and verbal communication skills when completing research or drafting tasks and providing reports.
Business Insight
It was very valuable to learn more about the business. The vacation scheme provides a unique insight into the type of work that is undertaken, the culture at the firm, and the strategy of the firm as a business. The vacation scheme explained the training contract structure, content, and highlighted the benefits of completing the training contract at the firm.
Culture
The culture at the firm is a big strength. Everyone at the firm is extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, from trainees all the way up to partners.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it immensely. The team I worked in was very friendly and welcoming, and the chance to experience and learn about real, international work at the firm was extremely valuable. The presentations and socials also provided a different perspective and created an overall enjoyable experience.
