    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • The majority of time on a day-to-day was spent networking with professionals across IBD, and working on our case studies within small teams. Additionally, each day involved a range of sessions, including division-specific overviews and firm-wide social events. We were also able to attend inspiring talks with senior leaders in IBD.

    Business Insight

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
  • The spring internship helped me connect the dots and helped me to see where I might fit in. Networking with people across the division gave me great insight into the main differences between roles and expectations for interns. I finished my experience with greater clarity and I'm certain that IBD is the right path for me.

  • The people I met at Goldman are all super driven, ambitious, and kind. In my view, this creates a unique culture, based on excellence and collaboration.

  • I absolutely enjoyed the insight. It was very interactive, despite being virtual. Employees were so friendly and inspirational. The whole experience was very motivating!
