    • The trainees during the commercial awareness activity were really supportive in actively guiding us about points that we failed to understand due to internet connection problems etc.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • As a student who is currently doing the GDL programme, this event gave me an idea of why I would choose Dentons over other competitors as I felt that they were always prepared, organised, and updated. I have developed listening skills along with the ability to co-operate with the team to come up with a settlement during the negotiation activity.

  • 5. How well structured was the virtual experience?

    • It was very well structured. Starting off with a partner presenting what Dentons does give me the depth to what they actually feel passionate about, and moving into a commercial awareness allowed me to test my commercial ability and even learn from others by listening to their thoughts. Lastly, the advice on applications with trainees was really insightful and supportive in making my application for the VC in the upcoming time.
