I really enjoyed the internship and think that the company went above and beyond to ensure that even though it was virtual the interns were still getting as involved as possible and got an accurate feel of the company culture.
I felt extremely valued by my colleagues throughout my internship and felt like I was given a good level of responsibility, especially as I worked on real-life projects.
My manager was extremely supportive and we have weekly, if not daily, check ins to check mine and my teams progress. He was very approachable and if I had any problems I could always talk to him about them.
I felt very busy but in the best way. There was always work to be doing or someone to talk to. I do think that this largely boils down to how much effort you put in. I sometimes worked outside of office hours just because I wanted to to do my best.
I was given a great deal of responsibility which showed that the company really valued interns, and I felt that the work I was doing was contributing to something useful.
I definitely developed my presentation skills which is coming in handy at my final year of university as I have lots of presentations online. Likewise the internship gave me more confidence in my abilities and allowed me to work with people of different ages which was a new experience for me.
Although it was all online everyone was welcoming and I felt I could talk to all members of my team openly and whenever we both had time. Very friendly people to work with.
Extremely well organised, especially considering that it was transferred online last minute. Lots of talks with seniors and loads of opportunities to learn more about the company's focus on women in leadership, sustainability aims, diversity and inclusion projects etc
We received training before and during the internship and it was all very useful and well thought-out. I learnt so much in a very small space of time.
Working from home
I am very much looking forward to working at J.P. Morgan after university—I don't see why anyone would turn down an offer.
Quite hard to do given the internship was virtual but all the other interns were very friendly too. I think if we were in the office we would have done more together.

Again, harder in an online environment but there were lots of talks and discussions held.
