  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed the work, it was relatively interesting but I believe this is down to the luck of what team you end up with.

  • I did not get any work from the wider team which meant I didn’t feel ‘valued’ by my colleagues as I was not helping them in their working day

  • I had great support and guidance

  • Not very busy, I was often ‘looking busy’

  • Not much important responsibility. I was given a solo task but it wasn’t very important and it was my only task.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Quiet and not very loud.

  • Very well organised by the intern organisers over all.

  • We had some training to begin with but not as much training as with other internship programmes

  • Quite appealing but I think it depends on the team you end with.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes with fellow placements students.

  • Expensive as it is in London

  • There are no clubs in Canary Wharf but a lot of bars.

  • There were sports teams.
