The Role
Not very much so i left after 1 month
We were not valued at all, interns came and left regularly
Not support just instructions which were place, measure grain line, and cut
Sometimes we would be standing around as there were too many interns then suddenly when it hits close to 8pm ( we start at 9 every day) there would be work and we'd have to stay til late. i had to stay til 3:30am and 5:30am in the lead up to fashion week. horrible
None just cutting
None
The Company
everyone was really friendly and the people who worked there were lovely but the studio leader was just unreasonable when it came to working ethical hours
not organised in terms of helping interns to learn or benefit in any way
they don't invest in interns we were slaves. no perks.
not one ever got offered a job when i was there, some people had been there for over 6 months
The Culture
I think we all bonded together because we hated being there so much... many interns like myself were not from London and we couldn't go out at all since we worked 9 til 11 most of the time so they became like our family
30 pounds a month with public transport on the tube and we had to pay for our food. They did not pay any expenses
Great, lots of things to do and cool bars etc in Shoreditch which is closeby
none
