    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Overall I really enjoyed working for the bank, and developed new skills and confidence from the projects and activities I participated in. I feel like I am more confident in the workplace, and my communication in formal settings has greatly improved.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Due to how busy my colleagues were with PPI wind down, I often felt excluded as they would sit silently completing work or work from home- so I was often in the office alone.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager supported my areas of development and guided me on any aspects I was unsure of. She gave enough advice and independence so I could fulfil my personal development goals.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There were days where I was struggling to find things to do as I didn't have enough on my work pad. Other days I had a lot on, so it varied vastly day to day.

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • 4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I can't make a judgement on this as I lived at home and commuted into work.

    3/5
