The Role
I thought this internship was a fantastic experience as it was a great insight into Investment Banking. We had the opportunity to meet and network with many inspiring people across all levels of seniority. I believe it was a great learning experience as throughout the Internship the tasks assigned to us required a practical application of the theoretical knowledge, which is difficult to develop otherwise.
I felt a great support from the firm and other employees I worked with. Their mentorship and guidance greatly facilitated my learning process. My colleagues were always happy to take their time to explain a concept to me or to give a career advice, regardless of their level of seniority. It was great to feel like an integral part of the firm even as an Intern.
I feel like I was given all the support I needed to adapt, learn and succeed during this Internship. The induction training sessions we had was an invaluable learning opportunity and the guidance we received then enabled us to quickly adapt and perform well at the day-to-day job. In addition, the colleagues were happy to provide us with further guidance/support when required.
On average, everyday was busy, but the time was passing by extremely quickly because each task was different and required a unique approach, which made the entire working experience very interesting and kept my learning curve steep. In spite of this, there were many opportunities to catch-up with colleagues regarding career-related questions
I believe I was given a high level of responsibility during the Internship as I got to make a real contribution to the firm by working on material that was later used in presentations. I have never however felt like I was left alone to do something - I could always ask my colleagues if I had questions or needed help. In addition, there was always additional checking of the work to avoid mistakes.
In my opinion over the course of the internship I developed many transferable skills that are applicable not only in degree studies, but in other life situations in general. I feel like my attention to details has greatly improved. I have become more confident when meeting new people due to the many networking opportunities we had. In addition, I feel like my software skills and financial knowledge have strongly developed over summer.
The Company
I greatly enjoyed the atmosphere at the office, as it was busy and intellectually stimulating, but also open and friendly, which made the working environment optimal. The people were nice and always willing to help, making the atmosphere at work pleasant and facilitating the work. I believe it is the culture of the firm made the workplace more enjoyable and motivating, which in turn made our work more efficient.
The internship programme was well-organised and structured. The communication from the organisers was very good as we were informed well in advance about all the deadlines and events, making it easier to plan ahead the work and really facilitated time management. In addition, we had a great balance between work sessions, educational and networking events.
I think we were given many opportunities to develop on both professional and personal level. We had many opportunities to have informal career-related catch-ups with the employees for career advice and mentorship. In addition, we were presented with different facilities and opportunities we could use to keep up with hobbies, such as gym and many others.

I would relish a chance to work for the firm as I had a great overall experience and impression during my Internship. I believe over the course of the internship I had a unique opportunity to develop a wide range of professional and personal skills in a very short period of time. I would love to continue growing and improving at the firm in the future.
The Culture
During the internship I developed some close friendships with my fellow interns as there were many opportunities to meet new people and socialise. In addition, training, learning and working together helped us to find common ground quicker. There were many events enabling us to meet each other and network with the fellow interns
I have not had the chance to experience the Nightlife during the internship.
Over the couse of the internship we had many opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities, which I think are crucial to stay well-rounded and maintain the balance. We had regular events and activities which we could get involved into outside of work. This helped to make the experience even more enjoyable and productive.
