Recruitment assistant Review

It was absolutely appalling! There was nothing enjoyable about the placement as it turned out to be a complete and utter con! I received no training, was let go after 2 weeks because of this and the staff were extremely rude and very uninviting. It was the worst place I've ever worked.

I was completely isolated here; and considering I was only here for 2 weeks, this shows just how bad it was. The people there were very unfriendly and in fact quite rude to me, making it impossible to even attempt to settle into such a place. They made up nonsense about me to make out like I was the problem.

NONE! I received no training whatsoever, the person supposed to be training me came in only once in the 2 weeks that I was there, my manager refused to offer any support or guidance and I was very much left to suffer on my own. When a mistake was made, my manager blew it completely out of proportion, and refused to admit she was at fault!

Not at all! The placement was a complete and utter waste of time that I will never get back. Time that I could have been using to hunt for an alternative job. The skills I should have been taught were not taught to be and the training I should have received was cancelled because they couldn't be bothered!

Appalling!! As stated above, I received no training whatsoever, the person I was supposed to be shadowing was off the whole time, with no replacement supplied, the training that was booked was cancelled and I had to find my own tasks to complete and no one was willing to support me.

Horrendous! The rest of the team seemed quite social with each other but they very much isolated me ! I was left feeling very stressed and upset, with nothing to do day in, day out. The office was a very daunting and hot environment and it is not somewhere I would recommend working for anyone!

As previously stated, the firm did not invest in me at all, nor did they offer any sort of training. The one training course they did bother to book me on, they cancelled at the last minute, leaving me stranded at another office. Apart from this, they didn't even provide me with a trainer/ someone to shadow as (no surprise) she was off the whole time!

It gave me a great insight! It made me realise there was no way in hell that I would ever work there as a long term position as it was the worst place I've ever worked in my life! I can only say how grateful I am that this was a short term placement, allowing me to leave with so little notice!

I genuinely have no idea!

As previously stated it was a complete waste of time and I wouldn't wish it upon my worse enemy. It took up valuable time that I could have spent looking for a decent job and it didn't provide me with any positive experiences or training that I could carry forwards so again; useless.

I wasn't paid a single penny, despite signing a contract that said I would be. Like I said, they were a complete bunch of con artists with no intent of ever offering me a permanent placement or paying me for the work that I completed; and completely independently too. I wasn't even reimbursed for the travelling I had to do and the tests I had to pay to sit.

No not at all. The only potential opportunity there may have been was cancelled at the last minute so I didn't even get a chance to meet anyone other than the 4 other people working in the same office as me. To be honest with you, I don't think I'd even want to socialise with these people!

Never, I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy! I would attempt to keep people as far away from this hell hole as is physically possible! I should never have had to put myself through it and I don't want anyone else to. This is why I am providing this review!
