The Role
The support I received was through regular reviews, constructed criticism and I always felt that my opinions counted and that I was part of the team.
After a number of months training, I was given opportunities and was also able to run a department.
I feel that I have been able to mature and manage my time better than I could before. It has also helped me to communicate my ideas in a much more appropriate and structured way. These are all vital skills for me whilst studying.
The Company
It was a good balance between fun and still business like. It made it better that the management team got along.
The year as a whole was very well set up. However, certain training days could've had better organisation.
Not only did I have a line manager's support, I also had a sponsor/mentor and was given so many opportunities to develop further.
