  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • really enjoyed my time there and would love to go back!

    • Everyone was really friendly & super helpful!

    • My supervisors were always there when I needed them and were always really helpful at clarifying things .

    • I really enjoyed my work and was always kept busy doing interesting things. Such a good work environment allowed me to really get stuck in!

    • Plenty of responsibility but never left out in the cold.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • It was excellent to apply everything I'd learnt at University and great to build on it. This first experience of the professional world really boosted my skill set!

    • It is a really great place to work, everyone can get along well whilst at the same time the environment really encourages good work.

    • Everything went well and any issues that can up were sorted quickly.

    • They gave me plenty of time to learn new things and I the continued support during my studies means I know they are taking the time & commiting the resources to me that I need.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Everyone gets along really well and our weekly meals out mean that we get to share time out of the workplace as well.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Prices were pretty consitent to the rest of the UK but I found a room to rent for peanuts and well within walking distance.

    • There are a few Great pubs but I didn't go out much.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • There are plenty of things to do in the town and being so close to other cities means that there is no excuse to be bored.
