  • The internship was excellent. The job was absolutely interesting and every person in the team was super nice to the interns. We had the chance to learn a lot in just 10 weeks and we grew both from a personal and a professional point of view. I really like the culture of the company and the environment as well.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My colleagues were very helpful with the interns. Every person in the team was willing the teach us and to help us to improve our skills and to learn. While on one side they spent a lot of time explaining and teaching us, on the other side they could save time as a result of the interns' support. They trusted us and gave us responsibilities,

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I believe we received the right support and guidance from the supervisors. Every intern was assigned to a buddy - an analyst of the team - and a mentor - a senior person of the team. Mentors and buddies represented reference points for us. Moreover, every member of the team offered us his help throughout the whole internship. Intern staffer and staffer paid a lot of attention to us and followed us throughout the weeks.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • On a daily basis I had a good balance between busy hours and slower times. Depending on the project on which I was working, I faced different business levels. Overall, I am happy about the balance and the variability of the days. I never got bored and I always worked on interesting tasks. I also found time to train and review things I learned.

At the beginning, they gave me time to adapt and to learn the job, then they started giving me harder and more challenging tasks, trusting and encouraging me.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • The internship is supposed to help both the firm and the intern to understand if a there might be a future collaboration. The whole internship is supposed to give the intern the chance to show how he/she can learn and grow in the future. Interns don't compete one against each other and everyone is put in the position to learn.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was a very good social scene amongst employees and interns. Everyone was very humble and they treated us very well. We felt involved in the culture of the team. We built a good relationship with the other members of the team.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I think the area in which I worked was very good for living. Everything I needed was close to home and to the office. Moreover, the city has a lot of nice places were young people can go. Distances to reach some places might be a bit long, but the underground works perfectly, so you can easily go anywhere. Moreover, the area in which I worked was full of young people of my age doing my job, so I had a lot to share with them.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The night life was awesome. The variety of places is great and you can choose to have different types of nightlife. It might take a bot to reach some places, due to the width of the city, but with the underground you can go anywhere.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • During the weekend you could organize good trips and nights. During the internship there were also different events that helped us to know each other better and to build strong relationships also outside the work.
