The Role
An exciting environment with a huge level of support and activities beyond regular duties!
I was inexperienced, but as time went on and I developed new skills, I gradually became more confident in the work I was doing. This meant that I became more useful to the company and was completing some tasks a normal Analyst would be doing as part of their everyday role
An amazing support network with people always willing to help.
Most days I was busy, however there were some 'quiet days', however overall I was kept very busy.
Was given the opportunity to set up files that would be used by huge number of teams.
Everything I have learned at Marks and Spencer, will be kept with me and will be used in my degree studies!
The Company
People were friendly and relaxed and chatty! A nice atmosphere to work in.
Work was prepared for me in advance. I was set up with tasks immediately!
So much effort was put in to developing my skills. I loved my time there and would most certainly recommend it to anyone wanting an organisation where people will endeavour to develop and train you and improve your skills
Would like to go back! But we shall see!
The Culture
I was the only intern in my department
Lived at home
Did not experience it
Yes I was offered a variety of opportunities to get out of the office!
