The Role
Incredible experience. I learned more than I could imagine and also had great fun. I loved the job and the people that I was working with always helped me in everything I needed. It is for sure the place where I want to build my professional career. It was an amazing internship in all aspects.
Since the first day I felt that I was part of the team and that my work was being valued. Before I started I thought that, as a new joiner, I was not going to be given much responsibility, but since I started my ideas were heard and I was given a lot of responsibility. I always felt that my colleagues valued me and my job.
I had regular meetings with my supervisor, where I was given guidance on my development. During this meetings I received feedback where I could see areas where I was doing good and areas which I needed to develop further. They were very useful as I could see how I was progressing and felt my manager's support.
I always had work to do and therefore the opportunity to learn and make the most of the internship. It was perfect because I was never bored and I could experience how it is to work as a full time employee. One of the things I like the most about the job is the workflow.
Since the beginning I was given responsibility. Thanks to this I could experience all the job requirements and felt that I was really making an impact. Having this responsibility helps you work harder and better, as you know that what you are doing is very important.
I feel that I have learned a lot during this internship, even more than I expected, and this will for sure help me in my degree and my professional life. As I study finance, all the skills I developed and training that I received will help me succeed in my studies.
The Company
The atmosphere was amazing. Everyone was very nice and friendly, and they always tried to help you in everything they could. I enjoyed every minute in the office thanks to the people. I made great friends that I know I will keep forever, and working with someone that you consider your friend is key.
It was extremely well organized. The internship was set up to help us make the most out of it. Apart from working with our team, there were regular activities that helped us see other departments and what they do, giving us the opportunity to talk to people working there. There were also other activities and events that helped us develop very different skills.
At the beginning of the internship we had a training where they teach us everything to be ready to start. Besides, we had trainings all weeks specific to our department and also trainings for using different resources that were very useful in our day to day work. I think that the training that we received was extremely useful.

If you do a great job, people like you and you fit in the firm, they will always give you the chance to work with them.
The Culture
During this internship I made great friends that I know I will keep forever.
The cost of living and socializing was similar to other parts of central London.
It is similar to other areas in London.
There were social activities in which you could get involved and they encouraged you to take part in them. I find that this is key, as you learn how to balance your work and social responsibility. Having the opportunity to get involved in these activities during the internship is great and something I appreciated a lot.
