  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • From day one I was trusted, and my opinion was valued by my team. As I progressed through my placement I was given increasingly more challenging work which truly showed me that Virgin valued me as a person, and trusted me to do a good job.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Virgin has a very robust support system with my manager and my scheme leads always being available for support. Additionally, part of the Virgin culture is around working together and I found that colleagues were more than happy to sit down with me for 5 minutes to help when I needed it.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I found my workload would change on a regular basis depending on the projects I was working on. However it was very rare that I found myself at either extreme, and when that did happen my manager was quickly to act and correct the problem.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • From day one I was given key responsibility at Virgin, and by the end of the placement I was leading on key projects.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Virgin has taught me a huge amount since I started both in terms of theory and real life work practise. I look forward to taking this back to university next year.
