The Role
Yes I emjoyed my internship to a large extent - all the teams are worked in were really lovely and willing to teach me new skills.
Yes I felt my colleagues appreciated any work I had done for them, I felt a part of all the teams I joined during my internship and they were all very encouraging.
Yes I had a meeting with manager to talk about what I wanted to achieve and how to set up different attachments in different areas I wanted more experience in.
Varied to a large extent - some days I was really busy but others I felt I had to ask for more work - having more to do would be preferable to me as I like to be busy.
The right amount for the experience and skills I had - I felt as I learnt more throughout my internship I was given tasks of a greater responsibility which was good for providing me with a sense of growth and achievement.
Yes all the skills and experience I have gained will help me through out my career without a doubt - they are not necessarily related to my degree but will without a doubt help me with my future career path.
The Company
Very good - people are very friendly and inclusive making you feel part of the team.
Sometimes I felt a little lost especially at the beginning there were lots of issues with my set up and I felt a little forgotten about - but overall the work they had me doing throughout was well organised.
To a large extent - not only was the internship an opportuntity to develop skills and gain more expereince but they also put on specific training sessions that lots of employees go through e.g. leadership and project management training which really felt like they were investing in all the interns.
Yes I can see myself applying to the graduate scheme or a job at the company afetr my degree.
The Culture
Yes the other interns were very friendly and we often went for drinks after work on a Friday.
Doesn't apply to me as I live at home - but drinks in London are expensive as expected.
London is full of clubs and bars.
Perhaps but it wasn't something I looked into.
