  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I was placed in a team with very friendly people, and found the work both interesting and enjoyable.

  • Through the work I was given, I was able to complete a project that had genuine value to the business.

  • Whenever I needed assistance colleagues/managers were always happy to help. Otherwise I was given the independence to work on my own.

  • It varied, some days very busy - other days it was more quiet.

  • The responsibility to carry out my projects was quite a large one.

  • I had already finished my studies when I started at Fidelity, it certainly helped with my introduction into the working world.

  • Very friendly, everyone was approachable.

  • Very well organised both within our teams and after work socials.

  • We went through a lot of training in just 8 weeks.

  • Very appealing.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes. We often met up after work etc.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Living in central London is always going to be expensive. But you learn how to avoid spending too much.

  • Very good.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Not too many as far as I was aware. I think there is an opportunity to start after work sports nights etc.
