The Role
Every second. It has hugely benefitted my career, knowledge and insight into the property world.
They were very welcoming and happy to take time out of their schedule to teach me about the job and tasks they undertook.
Any support that I needed, they were more than happy to help and ensure I had a good understanding.
Sometimes staff were busy and couldn't always offer me work, although there was always something to read to enrich myself
I feel that once they established that I had knowledge and I was competent they began to give me more and more responsible and important jobs, although some of the time jobs needed to be done; which I was more than happy to help out with.
my degree has given me a good knowledge of techniques, the marketplace and things which effect the market. This job allowed me to apply these to real world examples and put my degree into real world. This will allow me to now reverse that and take my occupational experience and apply to this to my degree to aid my understanding in my final year.
The Company
Staff were very friendly. As well as working extremely hard, we were able to chat and have fun. Very enjoyable and rarely boring.
Sometimes people were a bit stuck on things for me to do. On contrary I had lectures to attend as well as huge variety of different activities.
A dedicated team were in constant contact and checking up on me. As well as this, I was given a young mentor to help me if I had any troubles.
Company Parties/Events
Extremely. It is a dream for me to get a job at JLL.
The Culture
There was only two of us. We both got along well and have become good friends.
we had a Sainsbury's near by and travel was cheap. Bars are reasonably expensive.
I live in Bristol so I am very familiar with the area and love the nightlife
Sometimes I was left out. However, they gave me the opportunity to play golf, cricket and attend the ball which was very much appreciated.
