    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Although it was a very intense program - be prepared - I truly find it a very good and valuable initiative. I have never learned that much as in the past 2 weeks. Not only in terms of theoretical knowledge, also in regarding working with peers, cultures and the markets in general.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt extremely valued by the company. Many employees made time to meet us and reached out during the spring program. We had a tight schedule, but everything was organized perfectly. And it was so nice to see that many senior people took time to talk to us and answer questions.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • HR did an amazing job. They were always available to help us, support us and take away some pressure. Their personal skills are amazing and I was glad they were with us all the time. Moreover analysts, buddies and speaker were all so

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Although I had a financial backgrounds, this program was extremely useful in very different ways. It showed me how to apply my technical knowledge, and how to take 'human' factors into account. It also improved my networking and team work skills.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • As mentioned before, it was very tight but impressively well organized. Speakers were on time, materials were prepared, food provided,... Again, really good job of HR! The insight was also very varied - we saw and learned very different things and had the opportunity to develop a broad skill set.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • People were nice & friendly, especially the employees and HR. Always enthusiastic, happy and willing to help. Some of my peers were a bit too competitive, which I don't really like. But this could also be due to the fact that they were usually younger. However, I made some very good friends!

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • As they business principles mention, their people are truly their assets and this was something I experienced from day one. We were treated really well, received high quality training and assistance and they made us feel special. I really appreciated their efforts to make these weeks as useful as possible to us.

    5/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • I guess this was still only a tip of the iceberg, but it clearly gives you a good view on the firm.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Definitely, maybe too much :) No truly every speaker and person we met, spoke about the company culture and how it is so specific to the firm. Especially the more senior speakers, stressed the differentiating culture and the fit you should have with it. Through events, talks and case studies we had the opportunity to integrate into the firm.

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • Yes, but still so hard decision to make - Love the job, not the hours...

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • This was great to cover our expenses in the city, which were quite high. They also arranged high quality accommodation - I slept so well. Compared to many other programs, which are not paid, this is a great benefit from the spring week. Even food was sometimes provided and also our traveling expenses were reimbursed. Very much appreciated!

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • All the time. We also had 2 buddies to which we could reach out when needed or just to have a chat with. This informal relationship was very nice as this allowed us to ask all our questions. Also, after every talk and speech, they told us we could reach out to them if we wanted, and so I did a couple of times.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • There were many, and as I mentioned before, it was nice that so many of employees took the time to speak to us and answer our questions. Moreover, we had several women events which were really great. Especially the quiz in the evening was relaxed and fun!

    3/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Not really.

    2/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Yes!!!
