  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I felt truly welcome and was able to get involved in a range of important and interesting projects.

  • Everyone I worked with was really friendly and welcoming and I was able to get involved in social activities

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My supervisors were both fantastic. I always felt like they were there to help me, were really friendly and kept an eye on me.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Towards the end of the placement the department was relatively quiet so there was less work to get involved in, but never had nothing to do.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Always felt like the work I was doing was going to be useful to some extent. You don't expect to be given too much responsibility but was able to sit in meetings and get involved in a range of important projects.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Watching, learning and then putting the skills into practice within the firm will be invaluable. I have had the chance to get a head start on the subjects and skills that will be useful in the GDL and LPC and feel much more confident about the work I do.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere was generally upbeat.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Meeting the other interns before I got there was a really good touch as I already knew I would get on with them and I was always kept in the loop as to what the schedule was.

  • Got a training contract starting in 2013.

  • We all got on really well and had several nights out.

  • I can only compare it to Manchester
