The Role
Excellent. The Learning process is somewhat speed up by the constant attention of the supervisor according to each interns, in my case, specifically according to my background and previous courses.
Very stimulating international environment, with shifts evry 4-6 months.
I was luck that at the time of my placement we were only 8 interns so I received full attention and suggestion, not only on the specific course, rather on life long expectations and introductory to the working atmosphere. Very stimulating.
Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, short brakes, and very dynamic atmosphere.
I felt the load of responsibility it was sometimes over my edge, but it did actually increased my awareness of the tasks and of the expected results.
As a matter of fact, the gained learning and working knowledge will definitely be a tremendous asset for my working and personal life.
The Company
International, quite and relaxed, even though there were present 6 different nationalities; very informal atmosphere facilitating dialogue and getting to know each other.
Good enough. At times there were issue related with overlapping of assignments for team works, but pretty well organized on the overall.
Judging form the attention I personally received in bringing forth the assignments, must say quite a lot.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Not many, as the org is mainly a 'volunteer' entity by constituency, winch makes it rather peculiar but interesting as I was really engaged in giving the best of myself without a second goal.
The Culture
Excellent. May be I was lucky to share the experience with outstanding people, but from what I heard form previous interns, was the usual interaction.
Usual European standard.
Not much, but Amsterdam is a 50 minutes ride away!
I was suppliued with invitation to parties, conferences, lectures and social meeting addressed to the org.
