Business Placement
Over the 12 month placement, students will be working at our Central London offices within their designated department. Each department will involve a different set of responsibilities.
Marketing
- PPC and email campaigns
- Affiliate and internal newsletters
- Management of social media platforms
Operations
- Supply chain, invoice and petty cash management
- Logistics management
- Pay order and accountancy
Sales
- Account management
- Face to face appointments with high net worth clients
- Maintaining and building upon existing high net worth relationships
Partner Development
- CRM Development
- Event Organisation and Networking
- Research and reporting
We are looking for students that are committed to gain professional experience within these departments to help them refine their future career aspirations. Ideally we are looking for students that have achieved a 2:1 in their first year and are on a Business, Finance or marketing degree course. An A-Level in Maths is desired but not essential.
To launch our placement day we are holding an open day on Thursday 16th April 2015. The day will consist of seminars with our CEO, Sales Director and previous interns that are now in Graduate roles at Borro as well as a guest seminar from one of our charitable partners. There will also be a networking lunch giving you the opportunity to speak to several members of Borro staff.
Placement Period: 12 month placement beginning June 2015
Location: Central London or Hammersmith, London.
Salary: Competitive
Department Role: Placement Interns will be designated a department to work within for the placement period, either Sales, Partner Development, Operations or Marketing
Qualification requirement: Working towards a 2:1 in a business or marketing degree, preferred A- level in Maths
