You can expect immediate involvement in and broad exposure to, our Operations business. Our internships are designed to be a crucial first step towards what could become a lasting career with us. So as well as real-world experience, you’ll enjoy plenty of presentations and networking and training opportunities too.

Operations at Barclays

Fast paced and ever evolving, Operations is the driving force behind changes and efficiencies that keep the whole bank moving forward; an area which adds value to Barclays’ business by helping to increase revenue, drive down costs, enhance the client experience and ensure our control environment continually evolves with changing regulations.

Internship opportunities

Barclays’ nine week summer internships are open to penultimate or final year students as well as graduates. Operations also offer off-cycle internships which range from anything between six weeks and six months at different times of the year. Or, you can apply for a taster in our Spring programme.
