The Role

The MSD Informatics Department part of MSD Commercial Services develops, sells and supports market leading clinical data management solutions and services to the NHS. Set up over 14 years ago by MSD, the team encompasses a wealth of experience of working in different healthcare environments across the UK.

The successful candidate will gain a full insight into the operations and support of a leading provider of software solutions to the NHS within a global company. Working in a professional and friendly environment, you will be part of a team who will provide product support to internal and external customers, allowing you the opportunity to develop project management and implementation skills. In addition, you will be exposed to the Systems Life Cycle from Project Initiation through Analysis and on to System Development and Implementation, enabling you to gain a good knowledge of the different roles within the department.

Throughout your twelve months here, you will be given the opportunity to learn about the business as a whole. Experiences will include field visits with our Business Unit Sales and Implementation Teams and the opportunity to attend various business meetings, both on and off site – with the option to focus on the areas that are of most interest to you.
