Health and Safety Placement
Corby / Full-Time / 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Your responsibilities
- Support the Head of Safety, Risk and Resilience and the Health and Safety Manager in ensuring that local and corporate policies/procedures and regulations, as well as local laws concerning Health and Safety (occupational safety) and Business Continuity (Resilience) are implemented across the GB & Ireland functions.
- Develop an awareness across all sites ensuring local responsibility and accountability for the following: Health and Safety, Local Laws and Internal procedures and policies.
- Promote and audit, Safety (Occupational Health & Safety), Resilience (Business Continuity and Risk Management) best practice across GB & Ireland functions.
- Support committee groups for H&S, Business Continuity/Resilience
- Building partnership relationships with key stakeholder
Your profile
- Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills
- Commercially focused, with the ability to initiate and drive a continually improving safety culture.
- Competent MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment whilst working with several different, complex tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to assess situations, recognising difficulties and determining the action needed to achieve a successful outcome.
