Technology Consultant Internship

As part of one of the largest companies in the software industry, you will partner with teams of experienced engineers on challenging industry-focused projects.  As your knowledge grows by working with experienced Autodesk engineers, you will help our customers and prospects understand how they can reduce design and manufacturing cycle times whilst improving product quality and reducing costs by using Autodesk software solutions. You will collaborate with the development teams to ensure the continued development of our technology. You will participate in multiple projects from different different industry sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Work on engineering problems with a team of experienced industry professionals.
  • Access customer pervasive problems and applicability of using ML as a problem solving tool
  • Work with colleagues to create and validate proofs of concept that address those needs
  • Work with colleagues to help define and structure unstructured projects
  • Evaluate and derisk technical risks

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 120 UCAS points (2017 UCAS tariff scale) and predicated 1st or 2i degree

About You

  • In final year of studies or almost graduating with first or upper second-class degrees in a related field (Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a quantitative-related field, Mechanical, Product Design Engineering or similar).
  • Demonstrated experienced coding in Python, C++
  • Some experience building moderately complex code bases
  • Some experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning and statistical modelling tools and libraries such as Pytorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, SciKitLearn, pyspark (in IDEs like PyCharm, RStudio, Jupyter)
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software, or design and manufacturing industries
