Fleet Marketing Placement

LOCATION: Milton Keynes

CLOSING DATE: 4th December 2023

SALARY: £20,000, 27 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, loan car scheme, pension and a discretionary bonus

CONTRACT: June 2024 - June 2025

As our Fleet Marketing undergraduate, you will have the opportunity to work within our Fleet department, where our Business to Business (B2B) Customer Portfolio is managed. Your role will be diverse, covering all areas of Marketing: Insight, planning, product development, marketing communications, events and customer relationship management. Reporting into the General Marketing Manager you will support all areas of the Fleet Marketing team to help achieve their objectives 

What you could be doing:

• You will prepare regular customer, competitor and market insight reports for Sales and Marketing
• Support the Product team with go-to-market plans for key product launches, product communications and proposition development
• You will support appraisal, definition and execution activities of new propositions which will differentiate VWFS Fleet
• Assist in the creation of marketing assets for Sales Enablement initiatives such as pitch decks, fact sheets, case studies, personas, and competitor analysis
• You will support in the preparation of marketing communication activity and planning documents, presentations, reports and proposals for marketing initiatives
• Deliver tactical email campaigns in line with our marketing calendar 
• You will support the organisation of internal and external events and the management of agency relationships and sponsorships
• You will agency manage by providing availability and updates to agencies
• Provide presentation support across the Sales and Marketing team

What can you bring with you?

• You will be enrolled at a University which offers a 1 year industrial placement
• You will be studying towards a Business, Events Management or Marketing related degree although we will consider others if you have a genuine interest in Marketing and Events
• You can demonstrate your research and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to manage relationships
• Entrepreneurship and a drive to succeed  
• High attention to detail
• Excellent PC skills, especially MS Office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint

What to expect from the assessment process:

You will then be invited to complete an online video interview where you have the opportunity to tell us about you and your amazing qualities. 

If you are successful after completing your video interview, you will be invited to attend an assessment centre at our Milton Keynes offices. Here, you will complete a Competency Based Interview, deliver a Presentation and take part in a Group Exercise. We’ll provide you with appropriate support and guidance before you attend.
