Industrial Placement - Demand Planner - Supply

Role Details:

Demand Planners play an essential role in the supply chain. They use the analytical, marketing, and sales data to effectively estimate future product demands. This 12 month placement will offer support across demand planning with the opportunity to be involved with some other areas of Supply. Daily tasks will include:

• Support the team in planning inventory flow
• Analysing statistical data and generating forecasting solutions
• Work closely with Customers to develop insight and substance to improve ongoing forecasting accuracy in the short to medium term
• Work closely with colleagues in the Commercial, Finance and Marketing teams to align the sales forecast for key activities including Promotions, New Product launches and Seasonal events
• Working collaboratively with the team with exposure to the whole business with the aim to drive service levels & minimise wastage levels.

Muller is looking for confident students with an analytical mindset to join this 12 month placement. Skills required for this position:

• Exceptional communication skills with a keen interest in leadership and change management
• An agile, responsive and a collaborative individual who is prepared to get involved in a broad range of tasks
• A resilient mindset with the ability to adapt well to everchanging plans
• Analytical skills with the ability to recognise data trends
• You must be working towards a degree level or equivalent qualification (2:1 or above)
