Systems Analyst Placement

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working on projects to support capability delivery to enable our Sales and Marketing organisations business processes.
  • Participate in entire project lifecycle from project inception, requirements definition, build, test and deployment of capabilities
  • Work as part of a team partnering with Agile Scrum teams
  • Work with Internal customers to clarify business requirements and generate related features, user stories and supporting documentation
  • Perform analysis to better understand requirements which will include but not limited to techniques such as data analysis and business process definition
  • Perform validation of requirements as part of the Agile delivery process
  • Work on several projects simultaneously

At the end of your internship, you will have gained valuable skills and experience working for a dynamic innovative technology leader.

The start date of this role will be July 2022

Intern community

At the start of your internship, you will have a one-month handover period where the current intern in your role will walk you through your responsibilities as an intern. This is dedicated training for you during your first weeks at the company to make your transition into work easier. They will also help you build your network, answer any questions and integrate you into your position

Although each intern is part of a team, the intern community provides them with support, guidance and friendship, making the transition from university to the workplace smoother.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?
This is a 13-month fixed-term placement suitable for students currently studying a degree course in a relevant discipline e.g. IT Management for Business, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Mathematics and is targeted at 2nd year students enrolled in a 4 years bachelor's degree which includes a year in industry (or equivalent).

Additional skills required include;

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and responsive manner
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a self-directed environment - motivated self-starter
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to deliver tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and proactively find solutions
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to work well in a diverse virtual team environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly when faced with new situations and new people
  • Knowledge of Agile project delivery concepts or other software development lifecycles is desired but not mandatory.

Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom upon the start date of this internship, and for its entire duration. We are unable to support remote working from outside the UK.
