About the Bright Futures Programme
We’re looking to recruit undergraduates with flair and motivation to join our Bright Futures programme, offering you a huge amount of invaluable business experience. At Pernod Ricard you can actually make an impact, and many of our placement students have returned to Pernod Ricard.

Placements will commence in June 2022, and will be based in our West London offices on Chiswick Business Park. We offer a fantastic package including £18,000 salary, generous annual leave entitlement and a product allowance to spend on our brands.

About the team

Working in the Customer Marketing team, you will provide support within the Customer Marketing On/Off Trade team, working on both brand and customer activation projects. The team is central to building strong brand relationships with consumers and delivering value driving activation for our customers through national and bespoke campaigns, venue collaboration, digital activation, partnerships and brand advocacy. The team is responsible for delivering best in class activation through developing activity and projects that meet our customers objectives and builds our brand equity.

About your role

The Customer Marketing Executive Intern role will support the wider team on creating impactful assets and marketing activation plans across our portfolio of brands. The role will also focus on building trusting relationships with Commercial and Brand Marketing teams as well as external stakeholders and customers. They will also learn to translate brand plans into channel specific, deliverable marketing activity that will increase consumer demand for our brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop channel & customer activity based on consumer & category insights
  • Creation and execution of campaigns to be rolled out nationally for specific groups (e.g. Malfy Aperitivo Hour and National Pina Colada Day)
  • Create internal and external sell-in decks and presentations
  • Evaluate activity based on sales uplift, ROI, and specific objectives
  • Own the Customer Marketing plan for a dedicated region
  • Consumer centric approach, ensuring consumer journey is considered to deliver a consistent message across both physical and digital touchpoints
  • Assisting the management of the customer marketing activity/promotional calendars
  • Assisting the management of the customer marketing spend vs. budget
  • Provide administrative support to the team with financial processes, presentation support, stock orders
  • Attend meetings with Commercial and Brand Marketing functions
  • Attend external meetings with key customers to ensure brand and commercial objectives are achieved. Build direct relationships with customers as lead contact, and support on team on additional high priority customers
  • Seek out and implement adhoc opportunities to strengthen on team processes
  • Any other reasonable additional duties that may be required from time to time
