Are you working towards an IT or Business related degree? Do you want to be a part of a forward-focused IT department?

We’re looking for students who want to learn about how our business works, who want to build relationships with other functions and really see their work make an impact. You’ll be a valued member of the team and get the opportunity to use your problem-solving skills whilst gaining experience in a range of technologies, systems and services.

Our IT team here at VWFS are a customer focussed department that works as part of a global IT Team. If you’re looking to work in a fast moving industry where technology is at the core of delivering services and innovation then we could have the perfect placement for you.

We have a number of IT Placements available for 2022, all within various IT functions:

IT Placement – Supporting our IT Helpdesk, this role will give you a thorough understanding of the IT Operational environment and how the infrastructure is designed to support the business. You’ll gain hands on experience, giving you a great head start when you graduate.

IT Process Improvement Placement – within this role you would work as part of the team focused on identifying and managing initiatives to optimise processes across the enterprise. You’ll learn lots about Agile delivery and Business Analysis as well as technologies such as Robot Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Project Support Placement – We have many exciting projects and programmes within IT, all focused on various systems, initiatives and processes. Our Corporate Portfolio Management team is at the core of their success. Within this role you’ll be involved in supporting the team with the delivery of management information relating to these and learn lots about project planning in the process.

IT Risk & Security Placement – Working with and learning from our IT Risk and Security function, this role supports the ongoing monitoring and analysis of IT Risk and Cyber Security threats to the enterprise.
