Fleet Sales and Marketing Placements

The Fleet Sales and Marketing undergraduates will have the opportunity to work within our Fleet department, where our Business to Business Customer Portfolio is managed (meaning companies who lease our vehicles for business purposes).

Our Fleet department is going through a huge period of growth at the moment so this is a great time to join and have the opportunity to be exposed to our business at a really exciting time. Reporting into the General Marketing Manager this role supports all areas of the Fleet Marketing team to help achieve their objectives.

The role is diverse, covering all areas of Marketing: Insight, planning, product development, marketing communications, events and customer relationship management. You will have exposure to many buying personas, business sectors and the constantly evolving world of automotive and finance, this is a role that truly suits a huge variety of degrees and can really offer the right student whatever it is they want to take away from it!

This is what your day might look like:

• Conduct regular customer, competitor and market insight reports for sales and marketing
• Support Product team with go-to-market plans for key product launches, product communications and proposition development.
• Support in the preparation of marketing communication activity and planning documents, presentations, reports and proposals for marketing initiatives.
• Support the team with the execution of marketing activities that drive the growth for the business, supporting the execution of a full spectrum of marketing campaign channels, including but not limited to, SEO, Email, PPC, Paid Social, trade advertising, display advert events and PR.
• Execute tactical email campaigns in line with marketing calendar
• Supporting on the organisation of internal and external events and the management of agency relationships and sponsorships

About you:

• Studying towards a Business, Events Management or Marketing related degree although we will consider others
• Be able to demonstrate research and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to manage relationships up to Director Level
• Entrepreneurship and a drive to succeed
• High attention to detail
• Excellent PC skills, especially MS Office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• An interest in the automotive and leasing sector
• An interest in Marketing & Events
