Our Technology Industrial Placements: Technology Architecture
The best way to find out if a career at Accenture is right for you is to apply for one of our Industrial Placements. As well as getting a taste of what it’s like to work with us, you’ll gain valuable live project experience and enjoy a competitive pro-rata salary.
We offer a choice of 12-month placements from across our Technology business, joining the Technology Architecture stream, you’ll get to develop your tech acuity and tackle technically complex solutions using a variety of technologies, leveraging cutting-edge innovation and making it a reality. You will be a trusted client partner, understanding client needs, defining technical requirements, and communicating how the technology solution will drive successful business outcomes.
You’ll start with a formal induction and a two-week training programme. We’ll then assign you to a project where you’ll build your skills on the job. By the end of the year, you’ll certainly have gained some valuable experience and hopefully have an offer to join us when you graduate.

Where you’ll work
The programme is based in London, however you may be delivering projects on client sites anywhere in the UK, so you’ll need to be prepared to travel and be flexible on location.
What we’re looking for
Curious about technology and how things work, you will have a keen interest in pursuing a career in technology architecture. You will have some experience and a good understanding of at least one programming language or technology. We’re looking for you to demonstrate a passion for technology in either your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities. Knowledge of current technology trends and the ability to discuss their application in society at present or in the future is also desirable.
You will be able to collaborate with clients and co-workers alike, with strong communication skills to inspire others to engage in new technologies. You will be a creative problem solver who keeps up to date with emerging technologies and will seek to become an expert in your field.
