Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineering Placement

We have over 20 placement students each year at our Hazelwood site near Derby across business science and engineering roles, with the following opportunities in engineering in 2021| 22.

The Control and Instrumentation team forms part of the Test Support group within Lubrizol Mechanical Testing. Throughout the year you will be required to take concepts, perform research and design workable and cost-effective solutions which could then be tested and documented. You will be involved with aiding the commissioning on new test programs and installations and you will gain experience in the design and maintenance of electrical and control systems. You will also be gaining experience of engineering programs and software e.g. Matlab, Labview and Dewesoft.
