Engineering Placement
Collins Aerospace is a global leader in aerospace and defense. There are few, if any, aircraft around which do not have our equipment in them somewhere. This means you won't get better exposure to a field you've set your heart on whilst studying for a technically based degree.

We are looking to offer an undergraduate the opportunity to join us for a 12 month placement in our Engineering team who support our facility in Marston Green, Birmingham.
Areas that the IP will be involved in would be items such as:-
- Develop a pre-test tool for actuators, part of the VSM
- Help manage the introduction of CMM Machine
- Develop fault code store analysis tools
- Support document management at Marston Green
- Generate improvements and develop standard operations
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Enthusiastic
- Can demonstrate initiative
- Work well individually as well as in a team
- Organized and can priorities
The placement opportunities within Engineering include:
- Hydro-Mechanical
- Electronics
- Test Development
- Configuration
The position has a competitive salary along with 25 days paid annual holiday.
IMPORTANT: Candidates must be able to commit to the full 12 month placement (apart from the above holidays).
