Procurement

The mission of Corporate Procurement is to maximise the value and minimise the risk of spend with suppliers. Key responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

• Support Procurement Category Managers with the development and execution of end to end sourcing activities
• Provide insight and feedback to category management teams in order to ensure customer needs and business requirements are fully satisfied
• Build successful relationships managing internal Sony stakeholders and external suppliers
• Prepare and conduct fact-based supplier negotiations
• Reporting, measures, compliance, effectiveness and tracking of procurement systems and processes to demonstrate continuous improvement
• Support implementation of sourcing strategies, supplier performance metrics and tracking
• Contract management & support incl. development of category cost structures, trends and cost drivers
• Responsible for the enhancement of procurement compliance incl. contract coverage and supplier payment terms

Your profile:

• Undergraduate student studying Business Management, Economics,…as part of a sandwich course.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to adapt to a fast paced, international working environment.
• Ability to articulate written and verbal
• A keen instigator and manager of innovation and change
• Numerate and logical – able to make and justify data-driven decisions
• Fluent in English, additional European languages are advantageous
• Ability to travel, nationally and internationally when required.
