Digital Marketing Placement

Our Digital team is innovating how we understand our patients and their needs. Working cross functionally we are inventing new ways of communicating, measuring and interacting with our customers and patients through digital channels and technologies.

The Digital Customer Engagement and Operations team you’ll join is a valued strategic and executional partner who supports the sales and marketing of all our products. We support market understanding of effective customer engagement to ensure a focus on emphasising the value of our products to our customers and, more importantly, patients through a number of different channels.

The successful candidate will be a critical member of this team for 12 months. You will be instrumental in supporting digital channel and capability development that will help drive our customer engagement transformation model. This provides an outstanding opportunity to learn about the dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry and the major competitor companies within, which will build a strong foundation for success in your future.

A Day in the Life of a Digital Marketing Placement Student & Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage new and current digital innovations within the company
  • Create, develop and approve marketing campaigns for 'Connect' and webcasts, using UX and UI principles
  • Collaborate with multiple brand teams in the filming, directing and editing of videos in the in-house AV studio
  • Help brands develop their evolving digital strategy
  • Develop & work with cross functional teams including Business Insights, Creative, Medical and Legal
  • Support remote interactions through webcasting and virtual events
  • Support Connect (our online healthcare portal) and mobile communications as they play a critical role in our promotional and corporate strategies
  • Support the email channel which is an integral component of our go to market model and acquisition strategy
  • Make tactical marketing recommendations to the business through digital data and customer insights
  • Lead on team communications through monthly internal infographics
  • Complete user efficiency and compliance auditing
  • Embrace Agile ways of working by managing the process of how information is exchanged in the teams

What is required?

Education

  • Working towards a minimum of a 2:1 degree in marketing / digital marketing based disciplines
  • Entering your third or penultimate year of study, returning to your degree course at the end of the placement
  • Minimum B grade in marketing and/or business studies A level

  • Strong organisation and project management skills
