Sales Strategy Placement

Supporting the Group Manager of Sales Reporting & Insights in delivering accurate and applicable reporting and analysis. This position will deliver key information and reporting methods of sales performance through established complex data outputs from business warehouse. In addition, providing regular and ad hoc analysis to management and preparing presentations covering a variety of commercial, market and business topics will form a large part of this role.

The role will involve liaising with the sales force (Area and Regional Business Managers), sales directors, senior management, executive management, IT and colleagues in HQ Munich to ensure relevance and to develop existing processes.

  • Create / Develop / Establish / Maintain sales reporting and evaluation of company performance using internal and external data with the objective of making the information recorded and stored easily accesssible to the users whilst ensuring that the data is readily available for your reporting needs.
  • Provide comprehensive logical analysis of trends / gaps / winnings and present results in a meaningful format to guide the business in important decision making processes. For example, evaluating KPIs (profitability, margins, discounts, costs) and identify trends in BSH business developments and track financial performance in complex matrix sales organisations (i.e. Brand, customer (segments), channels, product area as well as individual items).
  • Ad hoc analysis and presentation creation for executive / senior management based on data and reports generated as part of developed routines with insight into current projects within Sales Strategy.
  • Work with Munich and local IT regarding sales reporting tools and possible developments and requests to push the systems in new directions to benefit the users and the business.
  • Liaising with the global key accounts team to ensure documents regarding global sales are kept up to date.
  • Responsible for supporting with queries and providing training / coaching to all users of SALA/SAP BI and other sales reporting tools. Furthermore, routine system maintenance is required including responsibility for SALA authorisations and new user set up in B1P / Partner Determination and communication to the business when interruptions occur.
  • Assist with / responsible for projects allocated to you or allocated to sales strategy.
