As a placement in our Crystal Ski Holidays Commercial team, you’ll spend an invaluable year working right at the heart of our business – with real responsibilities, and the chance to work on real projects. During your Commercial placement, you’ll spend 12 months in Product and Planning with our Crystal Ski Holidays team in Surbiton, where you’ll be playing a key role in making sure we have the right products on offer to give our customers the widest variety of holidays to choose from.
Throughout your placement, you will provide support to the Product & Planning team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and promptly. The role requires performance analysis of units, resort and country to highlight opportunities & flag risks to support both tactical pricing activity, as well as longer term strategic planning. You will need to support our sales channels on any customer queries that they may have and where necessary pass on information to the Content team to ensure we are providing customers with the information that they require
Another key role of the product team is to compose our destination level strategy and you will be required to support the Product & Planning Manager in reviews and bed briefing to define and drive the future shape and size of the destination. You will report on wider market activity & competitor positioning to ensure that our offering is appropriately marketed & priced, giving insight & support to the Trading Assistant for your destination.
You will monitor the merchandising of your product portfolio across all channels, taking actions to ensure that it is appropriate, timely & in the right place to maximise programme performance. You will use data from Google analytics to report back on performance of demand and conversion for your products and recommended actions at Destination & Trading Meetings.
Our placements are suitable for those who are on a sandwich degree course, looking for a 12-month placement to commence in August 2020, and due to graduate by September 2022, as you’ll complete the industrial placement in your penultimate year of university.
You’ll be on track for a 2:1 or above in any subject, and have a minimum of 120 UCAS points under the 2017 tariff system (extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis).
